Collection and use of personal data of customers, suppliers and other contractors
We would like to point out that we will collect and use the personal information you provide us, as this is necessary to conclude and execute any agreement with you. This applies both to our (potential) customers and to parties with whom we purchase goods and / or services.
If you are a (potential) customer, we use your data to send you a quotation, to be able to determine which specifications or wishes a specific service has to meet, to be able to deliver orders or to carry out work for you. We will also use your data to be able to invoice and to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about orders or advice.
If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal data is necessary for the conclusion and execution of the agreement. At the purchase, this is necessary to let you know to which specifications or wishes a particular service in our opinion must comply, to send a request for a quotation or to place an order with you. We will also use your data to be able to pay your invoices and communicate with you about other aspects of the agreement in a smooth and efficient way.
You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. If you provide us with no data or insufficient personal data, then it is possible that we cannot perform certain activities (such as delivering orders).
Transfer to third parties
In connection with the implementation of a possible agreement with you, it is possible that we must provide your personal data to parties who supply parts, materials and products to us or perform work on our behalf. We also use external server space for the storage of (parts of) our sales and purchasing administration, which includes your personal data. Your personal data is therefore provided to our server room provider. We also use Microsoft Office and the associated storage facilities for e-mails and other files. Because we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data will also be passed on to the provider of this service (but of course only if you have indicated that you would like to receive our newsletter).
Direct marketing
If you have given us permission to do so, we will store and use the personal data you have provided. In this way, we can inform you personally in the future by e-mail about our existing and new products and services and we could make an offer for this. Every time we send you an advertising mail, you have the opportunity to unsubscribe from the mailinglist. Therefore, you simply click the ‘unsubscribe’-link at the bottom of each mailing.
Online security of your data
Your personal data is protected online through the SSL/TLS certificate of our website and e-mail inbox. This TLS certificate is a successor to the older SSL, with an addition of various (security) improvements. Our HTTPS-url assures you as a visitor that your access is secure. You can read more about the realization of this certificate in the 'lock' at the beginning of the url. In addition, we do everything at organizational and technical level to protect our websites and systems against unauthorized distribution, loss or access by unauthorized persons.
Retention period personal data
If you have requested a quotation from us but did not become a customer, we will delete your data no later than one year after our last contact. The same applies to when we have received a quotation from you, but we have not become your customer: your personal data will be deleted at the latest one year after our last contact. If you have become our client or we are your client, we will retain your personal data for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you has been fully executed. This seven-year period corresponds to the period in which we are obliged to keep our administration for the Tax Authorities. After this period we will delete your personal data.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us to view your own personal data. If there is reason to do so, you can also request us to supplement your personal data or to change inaccuracies. You also have the right to request us that your personal data will be deleted or to limit the use of your personal data. You can also object to the collection and use of your data or file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Finally, you can request us to receive your personal data or transfer that data to another person or organization. To exercise your rights, you can contact: Ten Hulscher bv, Speulderweg 38-40, 3886 LB Garderen, The Netherlands, (+31)577 462307, sales@tenhulscher.co.uk.
